CVA Optima v2 edge

Anybody shoot CVA Optima V2? I'm looking at starting to do some black powder and can pick up the scoped combo for about $170 right now.

Looking to shoot whitetails and mulies mainly but possibly an elk in the future also.

Thanks for any input.

I shoot a accura V2 27" barrel and love it I'm shooting sub moa groups with parker black max 327 gr with blackhorn/breech plug and sub bases from muzzleloaderbullets.com I have a vortex crossfire ll 3-9x40 and I can consistently hit gallon jugs at 500 plus. I have a chance at drawing a buffalo tag this year and my switch to the match/hunter since it's a heavier jacketed bullet with swedged tip but I may also drop down to a lighter bullet for deer since I built my muzzy and load was for my LE elk tag last year.

I shoot one with no complaints. 300 grain SST being pushed by 100 grains of blackhorn shoots great.

Where you getting this for 170?

Eastern Nebraska/western Iowa seems to have quite a few, price dropped yesterday so I'm guessing they will start moving since they are around 50% off.

Jump on it. I really like my CVA Optima V2.

I use 90 grains of BH 209 under a saboted 250 grain Hornady FTX for eastern whitetails.
