Yes, I bought one through Arrowhead Rifles with his upgrades and it shoots great. Using 105gr. of BH209 with the ELR billet and have been impressed. 2” groups at 350 yards the first time at the range.

Kinda all over
Ordered mine yesterday from CVA. Had to get the Paramount Pro Colorado due to open sight restrictions. Really wanted to try the 45 since I don’t use it for elk, but they told me it’s only going to be made in 50, oh well.

Wieghted the charges to ensure consistency, the Paramount can shoot 150 grains by volume or 105 gr by wieght.

Primed a few variflame adapters. Process was easy and straight forward using the included tool set.

Set everything up pulled the bolt and breech plug so i could look though the barrel and line the target up. Made a couple quick windage and evaluation adjustments with the scope to hopefully get it on paper.

First shot was high on the paper, next three shots were touching. Very impressed with the accuracy of this rifle.

Just know that when you change lots of BH, that it may shoot considerably different and the POI can be off.
One way that top shooters have found to help with that problem, is to setup a drop for volume. Once you determine the exact volume, set it there for good. Then when you change lot numbers, drop them through the volume measure, then weigh them. Run 10 through the volume measure, weigh them and then use the average.
Know issue with BH is the change in density with different lot numbers.

Damn, I wanted to put a rem700 muzzleloader together but this one is intriguing, let us know how it does when you stretch it out
Heading out today to the range. CVA says the Paramount Pro is a moa rifle out to 300 yards so we'll get see really soon. If all goes well I'll stretch it out a wee bit more.

Well it was a fun day to get out shooting. Broke out the MagnetoSpeed to get you the actual muzzle velocity.

I did manage to stick the range rod on the first ELR bullet i loaded, guess i pressed to hard. Normally i try and compress until i hear the crunch of the blackhorn compressing. I debated dropping the breech plug and starting fresh ---- but instead dropped the bullet back down the barrel. Double checked against my seated mark on the ramrod and touched it off without drama.

Here's a short video of shooting the turkey gong at 400. Paramount is zero'd for 100 and I'm shooting 9.6 moa holding slightly for wind.

Edit fat fingered 8.6 was supposed to be 9.6 sorry for confusion.

How is the blow back? Would love to see the flame channel on the plug to see how it’s holding up! Awesome looking so far.
