No such thing as a negative test. Positive or not detected. Not detected does not equal negative.

Yep, that is my understanding from what little research I've done.

I've got friends that hunt 1 county over from the CWD zone here and so far they've opted to forego the free testing fish & game is providing. I'm also 1 county outside the CWD zone and I test every one I kill. I've also tried to be cautious about handling them or the meat until I get the results.
