These are some photos of my first ever 'bigger' bore rifle! A CZ 550 Safari Magnum in .375 H&H.
A few photos:
Initial thoughts
- Decent, but modest, stick of timber!
- Excellent palm swell, fit and swing.
- Bolt is a bit rough, but I'm sure it will loosen in time.
- Pulled it apart and the finish is surprisingly good!
- Fiddled with the trigger slightly and the set trigger is now superb. Normal trigger does have some creep, but isn't too heavy. That can be adjusted, but doubt I will any time soon.
- Nice, soft and thick recoil pad.
I have since shot a few pigs with it (now wearing a Leopold VX3i 1.5-5x20) and am very pleased with its performance.
Cheers,
Zubtec
