I’d like to take a second to brag on my father. At the age of 60 with two bionic knees, he followed me around southeast Montana for 6-8 miles a day, through all the hilly, breaky, deadfall, hunted sun up to sun down for 5 days and got it done on the 5th. Packed it out over 2 miles almost all uphill, even though there was a potential road closer we could have piggybacked to. Saw some bigger ones but this was a great trophy and great first big game kill. Even found a meat teepee to hang from, and have to say, prefer it over a meat pole some you of may even recognize it.
