I'm in Baldwin co.,
I dont wish a hurricane on anybody, but after
last year I'm real glad we're just catching the
outer edges.

We're thankfully just inland enough that the storms aren't as bad by the time they get to us. We're at 3 inches of rain now and it's still coming down.

We are in the NOLA area. We evacuated. Friends have told me the house fared well. It appears that this storm was relatively compact in terms of the Cat 4/5 winds. Still, damage is very widespread. I am afraid over the course of the day and coming week the body count will go up.

Having spent several months doing PM assistance for an electricity provider for Hurricanes Laura and Delta last year, I will be back on the east side of the state this year doing it all over. Louisiana can't catch a break.
