I'm a big fan of pepperoni pizza. I'll put a slice inside my jacket for a half hour or so to warm up a bit.

My struggle is finding foods for a cold all day tree stand sit.

when its really cold and I am mobile ie. stalking open plains deer, I like to have my stove with me and I'll eat one of my homemade dehydrated meals and a hot tea. If you are doing a lot of activity on a cold day, a hot lunch really lifts the spirits. If I'm hunting whitetails late october/early november, I like to just do something easy. Bagel, peanut butter and bacon is really hard to beat, and gives enough fat, protein and carbs to satisfy, especially if its cold. Otherwise, I snack through the day on homemade energy bars, trail mix, etc. I make my energy bars by putting dates, hemp seeds, walnuts, dried cranberries, dark chocolate, almonds, oats, and peanut butter. Mix it all up in a food processor, press it into bars and chill in the fridge. i vaccuum seal them in small pouches and they are way quieter to open while in a stand compared to a Clif Bar.
