Northern DCUA weather really sux this morning as sheep hunters and McComb caribou hunters start their first day of the hunt. Tok and Gakona have better weather. Visibility in the mountains has got to be near zero and this is to continue through Wednesday. No frost predicted for lower elevations.

Let's hope that our friends are careful with creek crossings.

Jarvis Creek is very high. We are experiencing hard, wind-driven rain that IMO is beyond most Gore-Tex capability.

North of Delta isn't as bad. I went to FBX late yesterday and experienced some sprinkles but not the relentless rains as in Delta. I seems the NW winds have the clouds stacked in against the range.

The sound of rain on the roof woke me at 1am.
