Defiance anTi x - owner scope mounting experience

@Decker9 what did you end up with for your setup? I’m putting a vx5 on an anti long action and looking at the Hawkins hybrids but unsure of which height to get proper clearance. Would appreciate your feedback.

I haven’t changed anything as of yet, i was thinking of contacting defiance to see about a bolt handle swap, but with the new ownership, im not sure if they would honour a bolt swap or even ship up here to Canada.

The issue is a real pain at times, but I’m kinda getting use to it now. A guy could go with a higher mount I think, but may require a bit of a riser on the buttstock maybe? With my setup the way it is, the scope hight feels perfect for cheek weld and sight picture.

The use of my rifle with gloves on though, is pretty cumbersome.

Has anyone replaced the Defiance Anti bolt handle with the Defiance Knob Adapter and then attached something like the Lumley Carbon Fiber Bolt Knob? It seems like the longer carbon knob would give you a bit more purchase on the knob when the clearance is fairly close to the scope.
