What was your starting elevation?

I am not sure of the route he took but the Summer TH for the standard route is @11,280 and the top of Grays is 14,270

How's the road up there these days?

We parked at 11,250 and hiked up to the peak at 14,270. The road was ok, some small Toyota cars made it. It was a 7.5 mile round trip, the plan was to do Gray's and Torie's but we did not get started untill 8am so we just did one, except for the crazy guy that did both (he does 14ers everyother week) and was waiting at the top of Gray's for two of us.

We did see a bunch of goats
