Today good friend Shaun Smith and I talk about planning your trip to Alaska yourself. Shaun has done a couple of trips including Moose and Caribou, each different ways so we break the different options down. This episode has some great tips and things to consider and think about before booking your trip.

Lots of great info. We flew off the same lake Renfro uses with Papa Bear for our moose hunt in 2018. We have a 2020 caribou trip booked and some of these tips will be nice to know. I will have to see about using Amazon Prime to get our food we need to buy to Prudhoe Bay. Good podcast.

Now I just need to partner up with another Rokslider to get up there... Not sure I want to bite off AK solo. Except maybe POW for blacktails or black bear...

This podcast had some good info, but there is a lot of the state that doesn’t get accessed through Fairbanks. There are float hunts, boat hunts, goat hunts, (I’m running out of rhymes, but you get the point).

Jordan, if you have some friends that hunt the southern half of the state, I would love to hear their ideas too.
