Has anybody made a telescoping CF tarp pole? Similar to a Redcliff center pole? Im looking at CF tubing on eBay but can't figure out which diameters I need in order to do this.

I drilled more holes in my redcliff pole. The full length of the telescoping section. I use it with one other section for my silvertip. Not fully diy but if you’ve got a redcliff pole....

What about using a couple of Costco trekking poles? About $35 for the pair. Cut off the handles, then make a coupler where you can but the two larger sections together so each end will telescope outwards. Should cost you maybe $40, weight less then a pound and have good adjustability.

Im trying to make two adjustable poles to use with large tarp. either a dragonfly or hilleberg. I want them to adjust from 72-96in. Most tarp poles im finding aren't that size. So Im trying to figure out a way to make one. The CF on eBay is reasonably priced so I think it would be cost effective....but only if i order the right stuff
