Thinking about getting a DCF ground cloth. The thought crossed my mind to just buy some DCF fabric and cut out the size I need. Why pay somebody's markup to get essentially the same thing?

I can buy one for $50. I need two or three of them. Might not be much savings depending on the cost of material.

Anybody do this? Good sources for DCF material?

I wish I would have kept my grandmothers sewing machine!

Thanks!

Dutchwaregear is another source option. Not sure who has a better price. I’ve ordered from both.
you’ll have to pencil out the price difference between premade and DIY. DCF is expensive and if you have waste, you may not save much. They do sell it by the half yard so you can buy the bare minimum for your project. Even if you have small scraps, you can make small things like a wallet or a dog bowl for upland hunting.
If you decide to make a bathtub style ground cloth, you can buy DCF tape so you don’t have to sew it.
