That's slick. Probably less issues on tooth loss and nose bone breaks than boiling and less time than maceration. Another bonus you could toss in a bag to make a sous vide dinner while you wait.

Man I have a soul vide that I never use, but I can’t imagine it lasting very long if you use it for that. Chunks, fats, oils are going to get up in that pump and heater section and cause a pain in the a$$. What’s wrong with just simmering them on a burner, works great and the “ mess” is out side.

A little wire mesh around the sous vide body, and you don't have to worry about chunks. I will give this a shot this year.
