I remember hearing about a place in California that would fix these puppies up at one point and I've hung onto them for this one day as they are the most incredible Bino's I've looked through but didn't survive fogging one side on a particularly cold/wet sheep hunt. The porro depth of field focus (set and forget) and how much ground was in focus was amazing and viewing comfort, range and detail were equally amazing. I also pulled all the rubber coating off them and it took like 3/4's of a lb off them so aside from the bulk of big porro's that gave them a drastic reduction in bulk and weight and one more reason I've saved them for possible repair one day. I'm sure they'd still kick the crap out of any other 15 on market today like they did awhile back if it weren't for losing seal on the one side.
Any tips if guys know where outfits may be that can re-work these things for me would be much appreciated.
