Not sure if you know who Jay Mellon is. A son of one of the NY Mellon tycoons, he was not just a prolific African hunter but a top notch mountain hunter. He had a lot of connections, was a very smooth talker, had good looks and was able to go places where no one was allowed. My uncle Nouri who worked for the Kleinbergers at the time was his taxidermist and I met him before his death. The thirteen ram is the story of his 13th ram in Asia where accidentally, he coined the term "World Slam" which of course stuck. I need to find and read that article
