Does your woobie make the cut?

Alright, here’s my question. I have the kifaru woobie and a 25L daypack. I like the woobie idea as far as an SNAFU insulation/shelter piece. But it takes up most of that daypack. Anyone using it in a similar manner? Or have a good alternative? I’d take the weight penalty if it wasn’t so voluminous. And not super interested in a compression sack rock.
