I've been shooting the 7mm 168gr berger classics and find the very easy to load for and the performance on the one deer I killed with them was right in line with what Matt is reporting. Great ballistics but shorter and easier to load for than the vlds. If you are running short of magazine length with the vlds then these can be a real help.

Thanks Shrek, you're right, that was why Berger designed the Classic to fit more rifles.

My first elk !! Shot it in Wyoming at around 40-50 yds with a 7 mag pushing 168 classic hunters. She was only abel to spin before she flopped. If you look close you can see the entry in her brisket in one of the photos. Perfect bullet, performance, placement, and no meat lose. I just picked up 300 more.
