Dudes l been jonesing for a 14r bad for a while. Now that l realized the door Gunner has stays and no frame sheet and a real belt lm really liking that idea. I had an Apollo before and while it wasn't perfect for me it got me liking the idea of going in this direction.

Just curious, could you fit a boned out deer in the door Gunner in a pinch?

How about some quarters? I'm blacktail hunting do they're not huge.

I want something trim and small but have a hard time justifying a pack of l can't haul some meat with it.

What do you guys think?

Also how does the 14r compare size wise to an Apollo? The Apollo seemed way bigger than 1700 ci.

I love the door gunner, I'm sure it could pack a small quarter if needed, but I use it attached to a frame as a lid. That way I can pack out more than just a quarter. But that's me, everyone is different.

Cool didn't think of that. I have an ultralight frame. Do the shoulder straps come off?
