Dove and Quail, 2nd round. Findings were almost nil at a fav spot. But pretty regular I can call in a Yote not too far away from the Dove spot.
First stand w Baby Jack, and other Jack sounds, no takers yet.
Moved more inside this Juniper forest to anothing opening... did various vocalizations.
At one point, this dumb male walks right out in the middle of this more open area where two dirt paths converge and I had my caller stuffed up high in a juniper.
I was planning to wait and let my son take him. But... sigh... big dummy goes and does a " PssPsst!" to try to get my attn re 3 he sees that were apparently further down one of the paths and out of range, so I had to take him.
