Would you happen to know how bad the fires have been affecting visibility in 37 due to the fires?

It all depends on the day. I haven't seen any horible days where smoke stopped me from seeing what I want to look at so far, but I know that with the fires in Oregon and California as well as central Idaho it all just depends on the daily weather patterns. There are a couple webcams in that area. One on the pass between Mackay and Challis and one near Mackay by the river.

Thanks!! My brother lives down in Twin Falls and he says they have some good days and bad depends on what which way the wind is blowing…. My hunt starts the 30th and was hoping visibility would be better by then..

that is awesome I applied for unit 37 this year. I have applied for the California sheep hunt in 46-1 for years and have helped others notch a tag. And this year the unit is closed hoping to have better luck.
