Drip edge on roof?

As many have said, drip edge is necessary. I’ve been in roofing business a long time, and even if it’s standard drip edge, it is a vital component. You’ll see edge deck rot and possibly fascia damage over time without it.

Are you financing the house? If so, I’d point it out to the bank’s inspector when he comes for the pre-draw inspection. That should get it corrected fairly quickly.

I haven’t worked with anyone yet who likes it when you put the brakes on their paycheck.

If it were me I'd tell him he's got 2 choices put it on even if it means taking the entire roof off and starting over, or you can fire him. His choice.

Just an update. I got an inspection done. I’ve been in bed sick with high fever since Sunday night. So I’ve not talked to builder. Haven’t been out there. I’ll hopefully be out of bed soon. Thanks for all the input
