Duplex Lite vs Ultralite Frame

Anyone have experience with the Lite and Ultralite frame by Kifaru? i know the Ultralite has smaller frame sheet and less loops, but whats the difference between the loops ? any pros and cons?

I have an ultralite. Lots of guys go with the lite because of the thicker frame sheet and extra tab loops. I went with the ultralite for the weight savings and better feel when in hunt or hike mode. I told myself the UL would be more comfortable when not carrying monster loads. I love it and don't find myself missing the extra tab loops. The UL is capable of larger loads then I want to carry.

Kifaru frames are the best. You will not be disappointed either way.

I recently bought a lite frame cause I like the extra loops. However, I think my older duplex frame feels better than the new one. I hope it changes, but right now I’m regretting buying the new one.

I have the Ultralite frame and was curious why the change between 3 loops and 5 - just for weight purposes?
