I'm persuaded that ungulates can see blue and it's not natural camo unless you are flying. I can't fly.
However, I have seem some good deals on Merino wool, usually used that would be great hunting clothing.
Does anyone know if you can dye blue clothing like this to a green, gray or brown so that animals don't see the blue anymore?
Am I being paranoid that they could see it in the fabric still if I can't? Or can I be reasonably sure that they can't see it if I can't.

I'd go full predator and cover said blue shirt entirely in mud.

Rit dye. But you will need to dye it with a very dark brown or green. They have dye for natural and for synthetic fabrics. Prepare to make a giant mess. My wife has done this a few times.

Not all blue garments are created equal.
The UV signature is what matters, not the color specifically.
Unless it’s a true indigo dye I wouldn’t be too worried about it being blue.

Tests have shown how some blue jeans will light up off the charts with their UV signature

From my observations, coyotes, deer and elk take notice. Moose, bear, caribou and muskox don’t notice or don’t care.
