I’m sure you guys have at least seen my threads about the boot/foot issues I’ve had... so with that said, I ended up settling on the Kenetrek Hardscrabbles for a stiffer boot.

I was perfect fine with using trail runners where I could, and if I needed more protection I am running Salomon Quests. Well, my current pair of quests are a squeaky mess.

Does anyone have any recommendation for a similar flex boot in something that is a little more durable anyhow(maybe full leather or close to it)?

Again, it’s a boot for early(hot) season. The places I’d use the boot would have a lot of side hills and stuff which aren’t so much fun with a pack and trail runners. Not to mention the stiffer Kenetreks are harder to “stalk” in because of how stiff they are.

I think I tried most of Crispis lighter offerings when I did that big boot blowout last summer and I don’t remember being particularly wowed by any of them. Schnees maybe?

Thanks in advance.
