Presuming you're not talking relaxed fit jeans as a comparison yes. On thing I noticed is the chino's (which I wear for work) are slightly smaller than the guide pro's I wear casually, I wear 33s in the guide pro and 34s in the guide chino. My wardrobe is basically all variations of these pants/shorts these days (pro pants, chino pants, lined pro pants, convertible pro pants, the shorts), I rarely wear anything else anymore.
