Elite Remedy noise

I bought an Elite Remedy as my back up bow. Have a Mathews V3 as primary. I love how the Remedy shoots and smooth draw but it has a loud string slap sound from the string hitting the string stop. It's bugging the crap out of me! Has anyone else had this problem? Can u put felt or mole skin on the string stop to lower the noise or will it get better after more shots? I've only ran maybe 100 arrows through it so far.

I don’t have a Remedy (which I love), but I have a Kure. Did you set the string stop, mor specifically the string gap at brace? I try for a paper thin gap. I also try to center the stop relative to the string.
