Anyone had any experience with an Elk Mountain wall tent? They say they are made out of polyester canvas, making them stronger, more water resistant, and will not have condensation issues like other polyester/nylon tents. They seem to be priced very nicely as well. Very seriously considering, but would like to hear a real world testimony of use in cold weather. We'll be hunting SW of Bozeman for 10-12 days leading up to Thanksgiving. Thanks in advance.

Would be interesting to hear any reviews people might have

Struggle with buying foreign made tents when there are great American made tents on the market. Davis in Denver has worked great for me and I know there are other companies here making them here.

I struggle with the concept that the window flaps are on the outside of those tents; it highlights the designer, sewer, and importer/seller don't know or don't care about functionality. Nobody who has ever used a tent would want to go from dry inside to rainy outside to close the window...
In addition to the above mentioned, here are some other USA made tents with Sunforger canvas.

Having sold some Polyester/Cotton blend tents in our Montana line, here is what we have experienced/learned with that material.

Due to the addition of a synthetic material, the canvas does not seal up as well as a 100% cotton canvas will. This can cause issues along the seams as the needle holes do not shrink up and provide water resistancy. This can be remedied with a seam sealer or a tent fly, but isn't ideal for a brand new tent.

We typically sell these to our "Glampers" as the material is easier to clean and will maintain the original color longer.

The other thing to consider with this tent is the fact that the standard angles are designed to use 3/4" EMT, which I find to be a little light. There is a reason the majority of us use 1" EMT. If you anticipate snow loads, I would opt for the angles that accept the larger conduit.
