Event bivy help

Been looking at the Borah Snowyside and MLD soul bivy both with event fabric and need some help deciding which one. Lots of great reviews for the MLD, but is it really that much better than the Borah? I want this to be the last bivy I buy, hopefully. Is the price difference just the cuben vs sil floors, or is there something else?

Are there any other sub 1lb wpb bivies I should be looking at also?

No experience with the MLD but I love my SnowySide eVent Bivy. Had John make it extra wide and extra long with a custom center zip to match my Slick bag. Oversized bag, oversized mesh bug net face area, with custom zipper set up, and a 36" 2mm cord for holding off my head weighs 13oz in the Stuff Sack. Been perfect for me and cant see buying anything else.

Bill, does he only offer the sil nylon bottom or does he also do CF?

Yes, I do believe it's an option. Best thing to do is call or email and let John know exactly what you want. He's a great guy to work with.

Still looking for any insight into the MLD event soul bivy. Trying to decide is it is worth the difference in price.
