Excess belt strap?

Hey. Just received my duplex fame and Stryker. Cool setup. I wear a 36 pants and ordered with a medium belt. When I snug the belt down, I have maybe 3 or 4 inches of strap left on each side. Is that normal? Most pics I see of guys have a lot more dangling down. Belt seems to fit fine but I am concerned about running out of material with more layers durning the winter. Thoughts? Thanks

Personally I have ALOT more dangling.....

but seriously, I could usually tie a knot in the extra webbing when tight snugged. On a MR pack

That means you have 6" to 8" of adjustment left, unlikely to be a problem due to layering. I wouldn't sweat it.

I hear ya, I just am used to loosening the belt up when taking off the pack. Now I’ll have to watch how far I do that or it can be tough to grab that little part that catches on the strap
