I use a 3500 and it’s a good compromise,I would like a smaller pack just for whitetail hunting.
If any of want to get rid of a k2 2000 bag in green I’m interested!

I have an 1800 that I used as a daypack last season for elk. It did great, though it forced me to pack smarter. I had ~30lbs in it, with a puffy, spotting scope, tripod, 2L water, food, and kill kit. I'll probably get a lid for it this year and try to pair down a bit. I tend to bring everything and the kitchen sink.

The 3200 and 4800 pack down so small there is no reason to really go smaller if you’re questioning it to start. I would go with the larger 3200 over the 1800

I’ll also add the only reason to choose one Exo bag over the other is how it’s configured and laid out vs size. They all compress really well and can be used as a great daypack.

I have a K2 3500 and I can barely get all my clothes and gear in there for late season hunts. The 1800 would be so small I wouldn't even consider it.

I bought a MR Popup 38 to use as my early season archery pack when I don't need as much clothes/gear.
It's the perfect size for my early hunts.

I use a 3500 and would definitely op for the 4800. More usable space for whatever you need and will compress when you are light and fast. Weight difference between that and an 1800 isn’t even that much

I have had both the 1800 and the 3200. I sold the 1800 shortly after buying it. The 3200 gave me the flexibility to be more efficient in packing my gear and get it organized the way I like it. I found the 1800 was just too small and limited how I could keep stuff organized. I mostly day hunt from a base camp but it is nice knowing I have the room to pack for an overnight or two as well. I feel the 3200 is the perfect all around pack size for day hunting from a basecamp for me.

Thanks for this reply! For some reason yours helped me make my decision for the 3200!

While I like the horseshoe zipper on the 1800, the side pockets annoy the crap out of me. Much prefer the full length side pockets on their larger packs. I think the 3200 was the right choice between the two.
