Hey guys. For those of you packing an Exo 3200, have you had issues taking it as a carry-on while traveling? Assuming it isn’t packed to the gills, of course.

I’ve used my Exo 4800 with no issues. Like you said, don’t over pack it, cinch everything down and make sure the straps/lid aren’t all over the place.

Yep, same here, used my 4800 on a trip to Thailand last year. No body thought twice about it as a carry on and it was pretty full.

Did you travel with the lid on? I am going to South Africa next summer and will be using it on the flight. I also have a few hunts scheduled in the mountains out west the next few years. I am looking at the 4800 also.
Thanks

I travelled with the lid on. I felt it kind of helped keep everything compressed down and tight.
Just my 2 cents

I have a K2 3500 and flew with it as a carry on with no problems. I have it about 1/3 full with the lid.
