Fall Idaho bear or Utah archery Elk for first week of September?

I will be moving to northern Utah close to the Idaho border late this summer. I have an opening to hunt the entire first week of September. When I went to buy an Idaho deer tag I found out that they had sold out just the day before. So now I'm trying to decide what the best plan B would be. Fall bear in Idaho or archery Elk in Utah. (Nonresident either way.) I did a solo 3 day backpack archery deer hunt in Idaho last year so I have the gear and the physical ability to get back in with camp on my back. I'm not a trophy hunter by any means. Just looking for the most rewarding way to use my first week of September. Any advice or insight would be appreciated.

I should add that I can get friends to help me pack out if needed so that isn't a big concern.

I’ll be out first week of September doing a black bear hunt , can’t go wrong with elk either
