I am fat and need to cut some weight by fall, I have some great backpack hunts planned. It will be much easier for me if I have to post up my weight every Monday. Fill free to join in if you want or just stop by to heckle me.

Today's weight is 229 pounds with a goal of 180 pounds.

I plan to do 1000 box overs with 40lb ruck for time. Feel free to knock that out today and post your time tomorrow. Im hoping to be done in under an hour. First time trying this one.

Weight lifting, cardio, and keto are my plans for success.

I’m happy to jump in here for some personal accountability. A winter of leisure and vacations has gotten me up to an unmanageable 240.6 and it’s time to start bringing it back down. I’ve been hitting the gym but a poor diet lately is to blame. Long term goal is 210, which I haven’t seen in a couple of decades.

I guess the first step is admitting you have a problem, fatass! haha, just kidding (about the fatass part).
I'm 223 today. 205 or even 200 would make me happy. Meeting with the trainer tomorrow for some additional accountability.
That's me on the left. that's my gut between the elbow and wrist there. Let's get it gone!

Hell yeah, good on you! Good luck, it sucks but it comes off, lol. Started last March at 223, weighed in Friday at 202. Same goal as everyone, 180.

Ray P, I'm going through a similar appetite thing. I'm not lifting anything other than body weight and periodic pack hikes, but running 50+ miles/week the last two weeks I'm always hungry.

Dude, are you me? That is where I am at and while not going keto I plan on reducing carbs in addition to weight, cardio, and hiking/rucking. 6'4"

Shew, not at 6foot4 I’m not. I’m a short 6 foot 1. You ought to be pretty shredded at that height even at 208.

Not sure what I weigh...may check in the AM but Im Guessing 195-200 and i would like to be 170. Weighed 215 last year at this time and was in horrible shape so I’ve got that much going for me but damn my apetite kills me like y’all. Long road or mountain bike rides or long kettlebell workouts and I’m ready to eat 2 ribeyes and pizza. Was down to 184 before Thanksgiving but ate my way out of that.

Staying between 205-208 for the last week or so. Was 212-215 end of December. Will be dropping to 195 but it will probably take until end of May. 6' tall and working on 63. The lower belly/lower back visceral fat is hard to get gone at my age. Free weights, stretching and cardio quite a bit so I really need to keep the nutrition good thus any drastic dietary cuts are not going to happen. Consistency and small gains in fitness and small losses in weight over time will get er done. Good nutrition is key.

Yep........tonite I did 10 100 yd sprints, ran 1/2 mile, and than a pull up pyramid from 1 to 10 and than back to 1. Holy hell.......I came in and could eat everything in the house

Ha ha, my mule sent me to the doctor last year. Like always, they weigh you. Couldn't believe I was toting around that much extra baggage. Dropping some weight wasn't all that hard. Mostly just some basic "duh" stuff. No mas beer, watch the buckets of bleu cheese dressing, skip your third helping at dinner, have a late breakfast and skip lunch all together. I count calories at breakfast but breakfast is still often Spam and eggs. It's weird. After a while you don't miss skipping a meal. I'll numb that empty gut will a nice cup'a Joe. Lately I even skip breakfast. I know... it's the most important meal of the day (said the dude not sporting man boobs). Around 190-195, it comes off slower but who cares. It ain't a race. Don't sweat it Ryan. Before long old ladies will be asking you to wear a Speedo and be their pool-boy.

Good idea Ryan, I am fat AF right now and need some motivation... 247 today and would like to be 200 by Sept..
