Yeah, I know there is a best camp photo thread already, and most of those photos are amazing! I’d love to see your base camp photos. So, lets see the next to the truck set ups. I want to see the not so roughing it photos. Comfortable wall tents, cook stations and any other memorable base camp photos.

We roll out the big camp for archery mule deer and fall bear, backpack to scout, and hunt whitetail and land birds mostly from home. For waterfowl etc, truck is base. Sometimes I sleep in the subi for ducks and ice fish.

This is the base camp and we'll spike out from here. Super spoiled with this set up, but I've also slept in the back of the truck a lot.

It’s dry and cozy, super warm, comfortable after a long day, and the food is killer. Come in, cook, eat, turn the heat on, and go to bed until 4 the next morning.

Is that a cabelas instinct tent?
Browning glacier. I have an 8 man cabelas guide tent but, this one is better suited for one man and a lot of gear. When it’s cold, below 20 or so, I turn the heater on. I sleep with the top vent open, the door zipped 1/2 open across the bottom, and on the sleeping bag if I run the heater. That’s how warm it is.

They are great little tents.
