I'm thinking of getting my toes wet in bullet casting some projectiles for muzzleloader hunts in states where it is required to use a lead projectile. For those of you that also cast, what is your favorite cast bullet for deer and elk?

Been searching around and have seen people talking about the Lee R.E.A.L. bullets. They seem good. Anyone use these for deer or elk?

TC maxi hunter bullets are my favorite to this day. Have tried a lot of others and always go back. Shoot decent and always hold together. That said I still really prefer a slow twist and round balls. Always works

Yes! My go to bullet for elk. I use the 250 grain with 110 grains of powder behind it, and it’s far and away my most accurate load. They blow through elk no problem too.

My only gripe with them is they take some muscle to load (witch is by design).
