Hey guys, this was my first year bow hunting after practicing since March. I was able to harvest a young blacktail buck in WA state. 47 yd's using a Beman Carbon Defender Elite 340 spine arrow with 100 gr G5 Montec CS out of a 2013 Bowtech Invasion CPX set at 62 lb draw weight. Arrow was a clean pass through double lung. The buck went 60 yds, kicked for a few seconds, and retired. Newbie on this site! A lot of great info and people here; excited to be a part of it.
