Haha I don't know - just to keep some privacy I guess. But big smiles were definitely happening. And a handful of beers and shots of whiskey once everything was quartered and back at camp were definitely had!

Thanks again to everyone for the congrats. To the guys still looking for their first - just keep trying.
If you read my first post - this was about 7 seasons in the making, and there was countless times; even on this trip that I had wanted to quit, and had wrote of the season as another "bust".

It took just a little luck and within 5 minutes the entire week turned around. After striking out for so long; I'll take a little luck in order to get my first! I have learned a lot; and I am hoping that I can continue to take an elk every couple years, if not every year!
