Hey all... I was interested in First Lite's Catalyst top and bottom as early season gear, and mainly for spring turkey. I wanted something to act as a light, durable and DWR outer layer with "some" insulating properties. IMO First Lite has not arrived yet with a durable outer layer, but the catalyst seemed "close". I'm late to the game discovering Skre and the Hardscrabble top and bottom. They seem perfect for what I'm looking for; DWR, wind blocking, micro fleece inner... the leg vents seem very functional. Can anyone compare the two? Definitely leaning toward Skre.

I've got two tough sheep seasons in my Hardscrable pants.. Like them a bunch.. Didn't use my Catalyst in the mountains once.. I'm moving away from First lite for a few different reasons.. The guys at SKRE are TOP notch, as is their customer service.. I had a real good conversation with Mike Wand when I called with questions.. Recommend wholeheartedly.
