Like the title states I was successful in my provinces first lottery for a turkey tag for this springs season. Excited and nervous to be getting this great opportunity. Said that the zone I reside in didn't have any tags to apply for since I have a back yard flock of about 20 birds. I've been practicing calling at them for a while now and they seem to like it. I haven't had much opportunity to scout working nights so kinda going in blind but we'll see if I can't get it done with either an old school model 12 launching 1-3/8oz of copper plated 5's or my 20 gauge 870.
