First year guiding, first group of hunters done!!

Picked up another side gig guiding for a very reputable local outfitter. First time guiding professionally. Our first group came in to hunt Wednesday Thursday Friday and we were pretty worried cause out bird numbers are down quite a bit. We pulled it out and had all but two tagged out opening day and the last two finished out Thursday. One of my hunters birds had 4 birds and 1 1/2” spurs. All and all I was pretty excited how it all turned out. Next weeks group is going to be quite a bit tougher I have a feeling. Good luck everyone!!!

Nerve racking for sure. We only had to hunt for a day and a half but I feel like I’ve been setting in a deer stand for a week straight just mentally exhausted.
