I have an older boundary stormtight jacket and the zipper on the breast pocket has come separated and unglued. My only idea to get this fixed would be to cut the inside of the pocket out and put some tenacious tape on inside and out where the zipper used to be.

Has anyone else had this happen and what was your fix?

I had it happen twice.
First lite will give you a discount to buy a replacement. Usually 45% off retail.
I did this once. The replacement did the same thing.
Contacted them again. Same deal.
I threw it and the pants in the trash and bought sitka.
Probably not what you want to hear, but the only thing I run from first lite is their merino and trucker hats.

Good to know they at least sorta took care of you. Even half off a new one would be more than I paid (used) for this one. I may just shoot them a message and see what they say.

End of the day, I will probably just end up with some sort of a patch job with tenacious tape. I am not trying to win any fashion contests in the woods, so I won't be too upset. It does seem to be a pretty bad design though.

Can you glue it back in with seam sealer?

Not sure, I have never actually used seam sealer. I will grab some and give it a shot! Is there a specific brand or anything that you recommend?

Sent messages to first lite and rugged gear. We'll see if either comes back with something that works.

This stuff is gnarly. Kinda like shoe goo for expensive fabric.
