Firstlite suspenders back clip with pack

The clip that hook suspenders to pants about drove me crazy with my pack lumbar pad. Wrapped it in tenacious tape and made it 3 days until we made it back to the truck and I swapped for my pranas. I love the FL pants and want to like the suspenders but I just can’t. What am I doing wrong or what’s a fix.

I wish I had a solution for you but unfortunately I don’t. I too, have this problem. I’m almost considering switching to a belt that one of my friends uses during hunting.

It’s made by arcade and it’s super thin.

Out of curiosity, what pack are you running?

You just got me thinking you could cut the clip on the back and then just run some paracord to the belt loop on your pants

I have this same problem with my Kuiu pack, very annoying on long hikes. There's got to be an answer out there for these suspenders.
