Wondering if anyone here has used a pop-up style fish house (fatfish 949i, Clam bigfoot, etc) as a base camp? Will HOPEFULLY be hunting WY for mulies the second week of season. Figured it would hold heat way better than my tent, and with only two guys and a bunk style cot we should have plenty of room. Am planning on stringing a tarp for a rain fly. If anyone has done this and had any issues I'd be happy to hear it.

Thank you!

The good thing for us is the Fatfish has an 80" ceiling (center), and I'm 5'5" and he's a couple inches taller, so standing in them (for us at least) is a non-issue. The condensation did cross my mind but the quilted canvas has definitely made a difference while ice fishing, so HOPEFULLY it won't be too bad.

What are the dates of your trip? The only other thing that may be a concern is ability to hold a load of snow.
