Should your toes ever touch, even slightly, the end of your boot?

Both feet feel like they fit. Left toes don’t touch ever. However on my right if I kick my toe down I can touch end.

I have tried taking up volume with insoles, and it doesn’t change things.

If your toes are already touching the end, then when you are walking down hill they are going to get smashed and beat up.

They should not touch. You need some space or you could loose toenails in steep terrain.

Even touching a little will cause problems once the going gets tough.

Also. When I size my feet for boots, I always size them with whatever socks I plan on wearing with those boots. For example. My 800G, 400G, and non-insulated boots are all a slightly different size on my foot because of footwear inside them. Also, my right foot is a 1/4 size larger than my left so I go a half size up on that foot. Same with my hockey skates since I was about 17.
