Has anyone played with the Fjallraven Kajka or Keb for a multi day pack? I see some FJ stuff used as daypacks, but I’ve seen very little regarding these as multi day field packs. I’m interested because I can get a good deal on these and my previous FJ gear has been top notch.

Thanks

In the earlier podcasts, I think it was Kelly that started out using one of their packs. If I remember correctly it worked well, but later changed packs due to weight or something with the wood frame.

I used to have a Kajka 100 pack, and have both carried a couple of caribou out of the mountain in it and have done a few multi-day hiking/camping trips. Switched to a SG, and would never go back. The Kajka was heavy and also performed poorly under heavy load (above 50 pounds). The wood frame is not very rigid, and the main bag was a bit difficult to compress and get tight. It looks good and felt fairly solid though. I liked the side pockets and zippered openings both along the front face and through the bottom.
