FNG checking in from CA

Hello all, been a lurker for a while now and finally decided it was time for an account. This is my first post to an online forum so this is pretty exciting stuff for me. I have been a bowhunter for some time and am also looking to get into hog, elk, mule deer and other bigger game rifle hunting. I currently live in CA, born and raised in WI. I just pulled the trigger on a new .300 win mag and used the forum extensively to select my first real rifle (Christensen Arms Traverse). I am shocked and in awe at the collection of experience, knowledge and know-how this forum has to offer, what a great place.
