Hello all! I’ve been looking at forums and articles from Rokslide for quite a while now and decided to join. I am an avid whitetail hunter, taking trips back east each year to put the chase on. Since moving to Utah 10 years ago, it’s been challenging learning how to hunt elk, muleys and antelope. it seems like the most successful hunters are hunting on private property or have years of family experience to draw on. I’ve bagged 4 elk, 1 muley and 4 antelope (in Wyoming) in that time.

I am enjoying the wide open spaces here, especially the ability to target shoot long distance. I’m shooting my 6.5 CM and 28 Nosler out to 750 yds and handloading for both.

I look forward to learning more from Rokslide and its members.

4 Elk in 10 years in Utah is nice work! Welcome to Utah.

Where back east do you hunt whitetails? I've been wanting to go out of state to get a Whitetail, but getting the meat back seems like it could be a bummer.

As the self-appointed chairman of the welcoming committee, it is my privilege to extend a laurel, and hearty handshake (virtual, of course) to our new member.
