Hey all,
MT guy born and raised, grew up hunting big game on the western side of the state. After college had to leave for more school/training/work and finally circled back 10 years later and getting back into it, at first mostly because my son wanted to be out hunting.

He has been able to hunt (successfully) in the apprenticeship program the last 2 years and that has given me the bug again. We hope to have reeled in his youngest sister as well. She already loves backpacking with us in the summer.

Have been lurking for a while, first got on to research optics and more recently focused on floorless tents, think I have finally made the decision for the Redcliff light. Thanks for the wealth of information and opinions.

Welcome! I'm new here too. And also getting ready to pull the trigger on a SO Redcliffe with stove. Will use it in SE Montana this year for first ever focused Muley hunting. Thought about the Breaks, and my son and I keep changing our minds lol.
