Hey folks,
I am from south central Kansas. Been lurking for a while and have found a lot of helpful information. Grew up here, did some hunting back in my teenage years mostly on public land. Didn't know what I was doing half the time, success was really hit or miss but killed a few animals here and there. Moved out west for 8 years (ID, WA, AK) and really fell in love with that region and I love the hunting style out there (glass/spot/stalk/hike a lot vs sit in a treestand all day). Anyway I find myself back in Kansas temporarily so it's back to Kansas public land. I'd really like to try to apply some of what I observed out west back here if the terrain allows it. There isn't a lot of big parcels of public land out here and there isn't a lot of hilly terrain but there's some.
